Two Area Men Sought After Gun Fire Incident

Waterloo Regional Police request assistance after gun shots fired

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On June 9th, 2018 at approximately 2:00 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots in the Chandler Drive area of Kitchener.

As a result of investigation, it is believed that an altercation ensued between a number of individuals in the area and during the altercation a shotgun was fired into the air.

Police have issued warrants for two individuals believed to be responsible for the incident and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating them. They could be hiding out anywhere in the area.

Both are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. We would encourage the public to call 911 should either of these two be observed and refrain from approaching them.

Donovan Bishop, 31, from Kitchener is facing a number of charges including careless use of a firearm and breach probation charges. He is described as: black, 6’3, 175 lbs, short brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of “Bishop” and “Kadd” on each of his forearms

Kyro Sparks, 35, from Kitchener is also facing a number of charges including careless use of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm while prohibited. He is described as: black, 5’11”, 145 lbs with an athletic build. He has a shaved head and a thick beard.
