Programs and activities:

Family Outreach Program

The Family Outreach Program is a community-based program created to prevent and reduce the depth of child poverty in the Waterloo region. Our goal is to assist children and families living with low income to access the services they need in their own communities. The program receives funding from the Region of Waterloo, United Way as well as private donors.

If you live with a low income and have children under the age of 18, who reside with you on a full time basis and you require assistance with, at least, one of the following: food, clothing, recreation, employment, education, shelter, child care and children's needs, counselling, transportation.

Early Years Family Drop In

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY, 9:30-11:30AM

Drop In program offers opportunities for families to play and socialize together in a group setting, encouraging both child development and parent connections;

Parents and caregivers with children between 0-6 years of age are welcome to attend;

You can drop in any time during program hours; when the program has reached capacity, a sign will be placed on the door saying "Please come another time"

You can register anytime.

Many opportunities for you to enhance your child's PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL & LANGUAGE development, which is very important in the first five years of life.

Explore and Experience with your child: singing, reading, infant area, free play, creative activities


Community Nutrition Program

Come and enjoy snack and chat with the Nutrition Community Worker; learn more about healthy cooking.
