Crisis, Support & Community Referral Line
Telecare Cambridge provides a confidential phone-in service for individuals who are in crisis, distressed, lonely or just need a hearing ear. All of our volunteers are trained to help in crisis situations such as Suicide and domestic abuse.
Telecare Cambridge accepts calls from all demographic groups in the Tri-City, Guelph and surrounding areas. We provide a non-judgemental forum for our callers to express their feelings regardless of their age, religion, race or sexual orientation.
The service provided is feeling focused and helps callers to find their own solutions, as well as giving referrals to community agencies if the caller feels they need more long term support.
Our crisis lines are open 7 days a week and provide confidential and non-judgmental listening and emotional support.
